My wife an I visited Playalinda earlier this year a couple times. Absolutely beautiful. The last time we had to park down at area 11, on the weekend. Yes, we sunbathed down at area 13, for no tan lines. Long walk, we finally got to our usual spot and had forgot the water. So, I had to walk back to the car, on the road. Decided to walk the beach on my way back. Crossed the walk way at 11 and had noticed others nude sunbathing. Families playing, others walking by like nothing wrong. Told the wife, she had nothing to say. We sunned, swam and had a small lunch. ( Watch out for seagulls when eating.) Enjoyed our Beach time. It was time for us to go, I decided to walk down the beach Au'naturale just to see for myself. We've seen couples cross the walk way and across the lot to their cars and back only in sandles and sunglasses in area 13. So, we walked down the beach passing others, some saying Hello and others saying nothing. No smirks or hiding their eyes, it was as if I was clothed. I don't recomend anyone trying this, it just may have been a lucky day or it was the locals just so use to seeing Nude bodies. We do plan on returning to Florida next year. Maybe try other clothing optional (Nude) beaches. But, so far our Favorite is Playalinda. Keep it clean, Keep it safe and keep it a Pretty Beach!
