Cape Coral Florida
Cape Coral Florida has 400 miles of canals filled with fish ready to grab your hook and join you for dinner. This prime fishing spot is situated between the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico.
The canals are great fun for boaters so bring the boat or rent one and explore the canals.
Cape Coral's beach has taupe-brown sand and this is your opportunity to build a brown castle. In fact, the locals are waiting for you to come with architectural plans in hand and show off your building expertise. It’s not hard to see why people retire here or why 20% of the residences here are summer homes. The sun is always shining and many retirees have discovered this beach is a major draw for the grandkids.
You won’t find a shortage of family activities here- from your typical day at the beach to delicious restaurants, shopping and fun.
Great activities to try and nearby attractions: - Take a little sightseeing tour at Cape Coral Yacht Club or just rent a boat and hang out on the water, fishing or sailing the day away.
Learn more about the history of this beautifully developed beach at the Cape Coral Historical Museum. Play a few rounds at the Coral Oaks Golf Course to see how the city folk here live. Enjoy one of the fun annual festivals held in the city about every other month or so, such as the Festival of the Arts in January or the Cape Coral Sounds of Jazz in March.
Kids of most ages: Laugh and play on over 2 dozen wet and dry attractions for the whole family at Sun Splash Family Waterpark.
Eating: Get a little taste of something different at Fusion Bistro & Grill or quench your thirst and taste buds at Thirsty’s Restaurant.
Sleeping: “Hide away” at a price you can afford at the Hideaway Waterfront Resort & Hotel.
Lap up the luxury at the Marina Village Resort.
