Great activities and nearby attractions: - Deerfield Island Park is only accessible by boat or ferry. There are two nature trails, each providing about an hour walk full of mangrove trees and rock formations.
Explore some underwater reefs with your snorkeling gear in tow or learn how to surf. Surfing is fun; you will fall off the board a million times (oh no, that was me) but you will have the time of your life.
Play a few rounds of golf at the Deer Creek Golf Club and rub elbows with a few of the locals and other tourists.

and enjoy the many amenities there.
Kids of most ages: At Quiet Waters Park you’ll find more than just water thrills. Kids can clown around in “Splash Adventure,” an interactive water playground.
Adults can water ski, mountain bike, boat or fish and the teens or skate enthusiasts can play in the Skate Park.
