Estero Bay State Park
What does Estero Bay State Park have to offer?
This park offers a unique wildlife experience as the very first aquatic preserve established in Florida. The park can be found on Fort Myers Beach.
Estero Bay, located between Fort Myers and Naples, serves as an excellent tourist destination because both are popular and offer great attractions, dining, accommodations and of course, wonderful weather, water and sun.
So, if you like nature, culture and activities on your vacation, you can have it all here.
Estero Bay is a great place to visit when you need to give your body a little respite from the sun. Get back to nature and see some wildlife as only found in Florida.
Canoeing and kayaking along the Estero River are popular activities here. You can observe lots of fish species as you enjoy a leisurely river excursion.
Hiking on one of the four nature trails to the river is also popular here and provides opportunities to see waterfowl and other wading birds, gopher tortoises, warblers, wrens, woodpeckers and other rare animals.
If you’re looking to spend an afternoon surrounding yourself with nature, then this park is a great place to start.
